a fixture which has eclipsed all other footballing rivalries since the keegan 90s due to their annual tussle for silver wear and both clubs been dead massive worldwide.
imagine the banter on the toon away buses today? Title decider this un. Must win. Bragging rights doon the dole on Monday.

No.. I'm out to watch us beat Spurs thanks very much.

laughable tit. Lets change the thread to 'newcastle fans away derby'. And lets quote many Newcastle fans who for a number years were of the opinion that local rivalries such as with Sunderland and Middlesbrough no longer counted because they believe they are an elite club operating at the same level as clubs like Manchester united. A Newcastle fan once told me that their rivalry with man u now eclipsed liverpools rivalry with man u.[DOUBLEPOST=1386418546][/DOUBLEPOST]they sing 'geordies' at football matches. sunderland fans do not sing 'geordies'

Maybe to some, since 1992.
What about people who supported before that?
they based in newcastle which makes them geordies, liverpool and everton are called scousers by quite a few on here but no ones says anything about that,i am not from sunderland but we are a wearside based club so have no problem with anyone calling us mackems
