that's what it will be. Didn't really count stokes as an out and out.
you won't be saying that when he picks up a few wickets by close of play

Stokes and Monty please!
Looking that way
can only mean bresnan isn't fit, which is bad.
cook, carberry, root, kp, bell, stokes, prior, broad, swann, anderson, panesar?
Depends what the score is.
On the BBC live commentary -
"As Ben Stokes proudly pulls on his England cap, it's worth reminding ourselves that gritty, flame-haired batting all-rounders from Durham have a decent track record at this ground. If Stokes gets even half Paul Collingwood's 206 here seven years ago, his selection will have paid off perfectly."
Fair point![]()

Not really, they might just think Perth's a better one for him.
Hmm root at 3 going to need a big performance from him me thinks.
We went with 2 spinners at adelaide last time did we not. Can't recall if it's a turning wicket, not really been paying close attention to cricket with this break.
Bad move to play two spinners. Aussies will go after them and do damage again.
I still think it'll be a four man attack of Anderson, broad, bresnan and swann.
