I would like to apologise to Wes as one of the posters who asked him to do the honest thing and retire.
To me it has now come down to one thing....keep him fit for 75% of the remaining games and we have a chance if survival.
The last few games, you can see JOS finally being able to concentrate on his own game and not having to worry about carrying his partner.

i feel sorry for the lad, 2 year of injuries must be bad for footballer, (obviously not the wages) but when you see how good he is compared to the rest, i honestly think its a case of what could have been us
(obvious) but we wouldnt be where we are now if he had been fit, and honesty think we would be somewhere around the swansea mark they have set over the past few seasons (nothing magical i know, but security and europe are what the most we can ever expect for the forseable future)

How good would England have been if him and Woodgate had injury free careers. Both top top draw footballers.
To be fair, they've played in an era when England have been strong in central defence - Campbell, Ferdinand, Terry, Brown, Woodgate, Carragher were all very good. It would have meant no Matthew Upson in 2010, of course.

He's only played once for Watford in the league so far. May not be in the same class as Wes. Might get more chances if the current defence let in 3 at home to sides like Yeovil again, of course.
