Ok so the local leagues are all finished how did the season go for your club or league?
What did you make of the new set up at both senior and junior levels.
As far as Washington goes I think its been a good start to life in the NEPL, being top with five games to go with a team which in the end only had one new face from the team which played in the last season in the Coast League and turning out a team which had seven players under 22 in the first team.
Interesting to see Durham City find themselves in the second division of the Durham County League next year, when it was there refusal to be relegated from the second tier which precipitated the break up of the old system.
I think the junior set up has worked well with local games and plenty of games for the players via a range of competitions. The only real concern is that 8 players a side at under 11 was to few and I hope it goes to 10 a side next year.
In terms of junior performances, Stockton looked very strong at under 15 with Washington the pick of the under 13 team, not withstanding a superb bowling performance from Prudhoe, and Durham City under 11s were the pick of the under 11s
