More than just Cattermole and O'Shea unhappy, ridiculous to single them two out. Very telling if the stories that Giacc was one is true. One of Paolos signings.

I'm firmly behind the players on this one.[DOUBLEPOST=1380017973][/DOUBLEPOST]
Ridiculous post.

Altidore and his agent as well, Cabrals agent piping up last week.

i agree, it must take a lot of shit before professional footballers hold a coup and i've never heard of it happening before.

Giaccherini - don't think he really wanted to be here - didn't want to leave Juventus.
So are you calling Wearside Giach a liar as he's on record as saying he wanted to leave Juve so he could get game time with the World Cup coming up?

I couldn’t have imagined... The players did the right thing

Except it wasn't really a coup. Short and Byrne had already had a crisis meeting before the WBA game. The events of Sunday may have tipped the situation over the edge but it was PDC that had driven it to the edge in the first place.

Should have worded it slightlly better - needed to leave Juventus for game time - wanted game time at Juventus - big difference.

What was this?

Just to make it clear and address the rumor, is completely healthy and isn't suffering from any sort of injury.

The omission of from the Sunderland starting lineup for today's match against WBA was strictly a manager's decision.

there's a thread somewhere

Is that true? i'd read the players were told this but wasn't sure it was actually correct.

either way they helped him on his way.

I think a lot of Di Canio's intentions and methods were probably spot on asking the players to ultra professional etc.
However if you're basically a nutcase in your man management skills then
all those good intentions are out of the window.
Whether you're a 300 quid a week
Labourer or a 30 thousand quid a week footballer you don't like to
be talked to like shite

I suspect its going to be similar to when O'Neill left, more and more coming out over time and people realising what went on.

As bad as it was under O'Neill, I was dissapointed when he was sacked but when the stories of him not attending training, despite shorts warnings, it was obvious that it was the right decision to show him the door.

With Di Canio, I was dissapointed with our transfer business and the start we've had but I wanted him to have been given more time. With stories of players not being able to interact with staff and other petty but extreme rules, its becoming clear, again, that the board were right to get rid.

There are a lot of people having a go at Ellis Short but the more we learn about the situation, the more obvious it is to me that the bloke knows what he's doing
