Just go out this morning and have a whack, dont see the point in nurdling towards bonus points now. I would like to see Derbyshire bat a 2nd time as Im confident we could roll them over.

Yorkshire will more than likely draw.

Stop being so bloody negative. Durham, a minor county 2 decades ago, may win the county championship. Again

Wind your neck in man. Oh isn't life so wonderful since the invention of sliced bread .

We've had a phenomenal rise, nobody is denying that, but we have a chance to win a THIRD Championship (granted some counties have been around over a century and never won one) so I want us to give ourselves the best chance at doing so. I'm not being negative, I'm being optimistic. I want us to do better because I know we are capable of it.

Attitudes like yours lead to mediocrity, whereas winners are born out of people who always strive for more.[DOUBLEPOST=1379151297][/DOUBLEPOST]Spinner opening up at Hove - tactics or bad light?

The spinners down at Hove will be because of the light- a bit gloomy around here at the moment. I think Yorkshire's best chance would have been to look for early wickets with the quicks and try to win the game conventionally anyway...

Wind my neck in?

You know you are a poster on a message board and not sir Alex ferguson right?

Come on Sussex.....lead of 250 and knock them over

Sussex have scored 76 in their last 10 overs. All the fielders must be either very close in or on the boundary edge.

But if they wanted to play spinners surely Rashid and Williamson would be sensible. Definately a result forcing tactic.

Actually- fair point- looks like they're bowling to set up a declaration- giving away too many easy runs.

Sussex surely know that Yorkshire are desperate to get a result, the arrangement has to favour Sussex. I'm guessing they'll make them chase around 300 in the last two sessions.

Jaques has taken his first ever first class wicket and along with Gale and Balance is going at around 14 an over. Contrived finish definitely on.

We're going to have to declare around the 110 over mark.

We have to go for it now hoping Derby fold second time around and we have time to knock over the runs.
