With the exception of Westwood I would tend to agree that that list would not be my choice as starters, Bardsley and Graham have gone, I will be surprissed if Cuellar, Vaughan Ji and Brown play too much this year the rest are fringe players. Nothing really shocks me on this board. However after logging in last night from getting back from the match I was some what surprised at the standard of posts on here. From PDC should be sacked to AJ should be sold or replaced.

Now don't get me wrong, I appreciate that people had no stream and was poor radio commentary plus the fact that there would have been plenty of mag wums anarl, the amount of these barcode arseholes backslapping each other last night was sickening. But I think its time to start putting some posters on ignore. Life's too short to get wound up by these idiots.

no not necessarily. its an annual occurrence (dunno whether it a cause or consequence of my battle with depression ) but like a few on here, I have doubts about PDC's ability to cope when times are bad & if he were to leave, we'll be left with a squad of virtual strangers who haven't been allowed to socialise with eachother - a trait that obviously suits PDC but who else?

Most of that is fine - I have had a running battle with Salem Street South around the new players my suggestion was to give PDC until at least Christmas Bruce got 3 years MON 18 months PDC has had in effect 2 weeks and see how things go from there. Regarding the socialising I think you will find that the players do more together under the current regime than they did previously. Before that the team had its own clicky tables did their own thing during the day and then left alone once training was finished they are at least he is getting them to sit together during the daytime meal plus there's also no requirement that socialising has to involve getting hammered and turning for work drunk (Bardsley) or caught drink driving (Sess). Anyhow one last bit - the football takes a back seat to peoples own lives good luck with the battle with depression its not an easy one that people nesesarily know about or understand.

It feels like some of our fans do want to fail, just because they can say I told you so. There's keeping it real and keeping it real. I agree that we need a couple of players to strengthen our team. But there's no need to gan off the deep end and say we're gonna get relegated.

It feels like some of our fans do want to fail, just because they can say I told you so. There's keeping it real and keeping it real. I agree that we need a couple of players to strengthen our team. But there's no need to gan off the deep end and say we're gonna get relegated.

I agree with the direction that he wants to take, i`d just like us to try and keep the good uns, add to them with the likes of ba and mavrias etc and get shot of the shite

I would like to too. Its just sometimes it takes time to shift the shite ones, and the medium ones have to make do, to balance the books. I have faith that the team we are assembling will come together, it might take a bit more time than we might want. I understand that we've been here before, it seems like groundhog day at our club at times.

Now it would be a different matter if AJ or Fletch were peddled. I would be bloody pissed.
