Whilst I kind of agree with you about the mentality of some of these people, where they hedge their bets. Its just I feel if they ever gets to that stage they should just give up supporting us. Its akin to a man who knows he's pulled someone far too good for him and knows some day she will leave and hurt him badly. So the guy does the decent thing and breaks it off before he gets hurt. That's what these idiots who "predict" negativity should do. Just pack it in and let the rest do what football fans are supposed to do. Which is to support their team.

Nobody wants us to fail.

We have a squad which is probably 50% full of shite or wankers on ego trips. Yet we keep them and flog the good players. There had better be a rabbit pulled out of a hat somewhere in the next month or we are bang in bother

Really is that why people are sitting on here making things up or jumping in to quote papers dredging up stories or that you have made a statement that 50% of our team are full or shite or wankers - please name the players that are wankers or full of shite and support your statement with facts.

At the end of last season, the only players i was bothered about staying were mig, sess, colback, fletcher and o'shea. All the rest of last seasons squad are not good enough.

Re: the incomings, the italian looks ok, altidore looks ok but is not a goalscorer, roberge will not make it, celestka decentish but not a significant improvement, if an improvement at all, who knows about cabral, ba, mavrias, moberg or diakite. Either way, none of them incomings look like being as important as any of mig, sess or rose last season.

None of those below would get a game for a side in the PL other than a relegation threatened one
Westwood, Cuellar, Vaughan, Gardner, Bardsley, Brown (never plays), Wickham, Dong Wrong, Larsson, Graham
 
I get just as pissed off with the morons who go overboard unrealistically worshiping new signings / managers before a ball has been kicked or after a game or two. it goes from one extreme to the other every season. & as for the points scoring over who was right or wrong, is it worth the all the drivel on here? they're all just opinions, yes it great to be correct but there's no shame in being wrong if you genuinely believed your expressed opinion. I don't suppose I'm alone on here in hoping for the best whilst expecting the worst.

This irritates me as well. Meyler far better than Cana based on 3 or 4 games. Cabral far superior than Cattermole based on 1 game. Celustka is apparently class etc etc

With the exception of Westwood I would tend to agree that that list would not be my choice as starters, Bardsley and Graham have gone, I will be surprissed if Cuellar, Vaughan Ji and Brown play too much this year the rest are fringe players. no not necessarily. its an annual occurrence (dunno whether it a cause or consequence of my battle with depression :lol:) but like a few on here, I have doubts about PDC's ability to cope when times are bad & if he were to leave, we'll be left with a squad of virtual strangers who haven't been allowed to socialise with eachother - a trait that obviously suits PDC but who else?
