Broad just isn't good enough to be opening bowler in a test match he's first change at best. I'd love to see Onions play at Durham in the test and Stokes instead of Bairstow which gives us another bowling option.

Strauss should have been captain for the 2006/2007 Ashes and when KP was appointed, he was long overdue IMO.

He's not picked for his batting though. He does seem to be improving but if we don't take 20 wickets we aren't winning, if we're relying on Broad to get runs we're struggling.
