Do not insult my intelligence with that spurious, sanctamonious bile. Who for? You? SedgefieldTwat? Nobody cares one shiny shade of shite about TNA. All of you are glad it is failing as a company. Just because it will prove you right and is good for the image of the management who run the much sainted WWE.

Yet are 100% behind a company that get's its "talent" to splurt out in-front of the watching public tragic catch-phrases and then either screws them, get's them to lower themselves to the level of a children's TV presenter (Getting top superstars on big contracts to try to work with The Muppets on Monday Night Raw shows the intellectual level Vince McMahon thinks the fans have and is one of the most embarassing things I have ever seen) or virtually pushes them into an early grave. Oh, and then theirs the Invasion storyline in 2001? Vince had a massive chance to organise one of the biggest and most sensational storyline's ever; WWE against ECW and WCW and in so doing make every fan's dream come true. Every fan has wondered how the WWE would do in an actual battle against their rivals. And Vince for me fucked it up big time. Then theirs the WCW World Title match on the July 1 RAW. Everyone knows about how badly received the Buff Bagwell v Booker T match. Not one fan was engaged. They all were bored to tears.

The WWE has not got a flawless record.

I'm sorry to interupt your fishing session but I prefer TNA's product have you read my posts on this thread?

Some sense finally. Thought we had seen the last of sense.
So people who agree with you have sense?

Fair point.

The WWE have the potential to have a excellent product but play it safe. TNA has the product in the ring but is not as rich.
i disagree tbh, many matches are just total spotfests.

They have a few decent workers but TNA is only heading one way, its been getting worse and worse.

People are going way over the top about these TNA cuts like. If they were releasing their top names fair enough but they aren't, WWE does the same thing every year and nobody bats an eyelid.

Because TNA operates more like an indy company, than a professional company (WWE). WWE tend to spring-clean after Wrestlemania, releasing a few lower-card talent.

TNA are asking talent to take pay cuts or are just releasing them straight away, all the while keeping Uncle Eric and Hogan on top with big contracts.

TNA is only heading one way, its been getting worse and worse.

Then again maybe it is for the best for the wrestling world if TNA is ran out of business.

I hope for a time in a post-TNA world where after being force-fed nothing but WWE, the trolls who abuse TNA on Twitter snap and demand something else as they will finally realise a WWE ran monopoly in the pro wrestling world is bad for the industry. But I hope they will find themselves left bitterly disappointed as nothing will come because nobody will ever amass the backing to compete seriously with the WWE and they will have no alternative than to support a man who no doubt forces wrestlers to constantly become better and better; no matter the cost, for the sake of profit.

Spring clean? It is still releasing talent; however you look at it

..all the while keeping Uncle Eric and Hogan on top with big contracts.

Whilst Hogan is a drain, Bischoff hasn't been seen on TV since last year.

The matches are OK, but the angles are just Seasons 1-3 of Hogan Knows Best.

Releasing actual wrestlers while keeping on the Hogans, Bischoffs, Rampage, Taz etc. What do any of them add to the product?

Yes, but he's the booker, and will be on the most money. FFS

Grow up.

The WWE isn't perfect. Nobody would claim it is. It's going in the right direction again (finally) but there are loads of stuff wrong with it. But then - it's doing business.

TNA is dying. TNA is struggling financially. TNA is drawing a few hundred people at house shows. The reasons for this are the ones that make you cry. Hogn/Bischoff are a laughable booking team (See: WCW). Dixie Carter is weak as piss. No deadwood is cleared, only youngish stars with no political clout. They make no stars.

Every wrestling fan wants TNA to be good. They are not. If nothing changes, you will be buying your Best of TNA DVD from Vince McMahon in a couple of years. Red the writing on the wall, you laughable, peabrained fanboy.

 WWE doesn't acknowledge them as competition. Remember when they almost beat WWECW in the ratings? They came within a 0.1 point of beating the likes of Matt Hardy, Finlay and Big Daddy V!!! Less said about the Monday Night "War" the better

Small-time and poorly operated, I hope Spike pull the plug on TNA - on the plus side, WWE might buy the old tapes.

thats the problem with the WWE they have no competition and are just so blasé about everything and don't give a monkeys about creating a cutting edge product and like to play it safe ;-)

Agreed, but they are expanding their horizons on other front (mainly the films they're trying to make). I think NXT was a real breath of fresh air and should have lasted longer as a "reality" TV show, it's a shame they quickly went through so much talent. But they've built on it, and now have a recognised show for developmental talent (unlike OVW and FCW), their new facilities are excellent, hope they can produce some good stars.

Heard great things about NXT and have seen a few minutes of it the problem for me is its on so late in the evening when I have to be in work early the next day. The other thing that worries me about WWE cannot push people correctly these days. A wrestler could be on a roll and they tend to do one of two things:

1. (If They Are Heel and very popular) Turn him face and negate his character completely and they take away the thing that made him popular in the first place so you are left with a run-of-the-mill babyface.

2. (If They Are Heel) Push them strongly at the start and then when they suffer their first loss tend to go on long winless streaks, then decide to push them again and they wonder why the fans are not caring about them after making them look very weak for months ;-)

so frustrating because they do have all the tools there if they used some brain power

You must know where to look to stream it on the net...? It's well worth it.

The leprachaun starring hornswaggle is going to be tremendous

PM sent marra.

I'd recommend going back a while and watching the last 8-10 to get a feel for it.

thanks for that 8-)
Antonio Cesaro continues to receive "match of the night" and "match of the year" mentions. He wrestled Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel in a 30 minute match that was called "match of the night" at last night's WWE live event in Sydney, Australia. Axel worked as a babyface and a fan in attendance noted that he played the role well.

Wtf

you have a average wrestler who you are trying to protect (who is struggling to get over) and he is working a match as a face? how is that going to help is credibility?. People in Australia have seen him work as a face when they are trying to push him as a big heel on tv? :-?

his career will not last a year.

He has been pushed way too far as it stands. Never been good enough, certainly not charismatic enough for WWE
