Anybody else think Bryan will take the title?

With vince being against him and HHH for him, it would make the 'power' storyline more intense. I could also see Vince screwing Bryan over or even orton cashing in straight after and turning heel.

But I reckon he'll win it atm

No way.

Not until Cena has shifted all those "the champ is here" shirts.

Any evidence that Vince is against him?

If he does it'll be took off him straight away, orton will cash in.

He couldn't even hold on to the X Division title marra.

He gave it up for a shot at the world title you daft berk!:lol:

He only lost the X Division title the first time under dubious circumstances. Aries had beat up the real Suicide prior to the Suicide v Chris Sabin v Kenny King three-way X Division title match and adopted his costume. Hulk Hogan immediately had Aries defend his title in a re-match which Sabin won.

That is the choice faced by the X-Division Champion. Austin Aries did the same thing 12 months ago. He beat Bobby Roode at BFG.

Yes I know.

Sabin didn't successfully defend his title once. Indeed, he lost the one time he tried.

This "push" is very weird.

There has been a call internally for WWE to try and create an African American babyface. The idea is to create him both to attract that demographic and to sell merchandise, similar to the role Rey Mysterio has played with the Latin community.

Thats the problem with the WWE they are trying to cater for a market rather than just booking good wrestler who will get over anywhere :-?

Just seem on the Impact Wrestling website highlights of Sunday's episode and I must say to anyone who has followed OVW it will be a little disappointing. Bully Ray brought out a lawyer at the beginning which turned out to be OVW commentator Dean Hill.

I know I hate TNA at the best of times, but I really hope Dixie, Hogan and Uncle Eric pop their clogs soon. Releasing Jesse Sorensen is disgusting, completely unfair.

Great to see them draw huge crowds of 500 and 250 people :lol::oops: Nothing more than a glorified independent, I can see Spike dropping them soon.

More people at the WWE performance centre training sesh, apparently.

Disgusting talk!

Why shouldn't TNA exist because it isn't as well run or as rich or as successful as WWE. Why should it be forced out of business by this fan driven witch-hunt because they may not make the same right decisions as WWE. Why should it be made to pay for not being quite as big as the WWE.

Do not think that if TNA was richer and had the top quality creative talent personnel with experience and know-how to make it a viable and successful business model, it still would struggle? I would happily make the WWE walk a day in the shoes of TNA. See how it (WWE) manages for a day on the money it (TNA) makes with the wrestlers it has.

But then again I ask you if you seriously think that if TNA was made a highly profitable, wealthy promotion with a roster full of top-notch high earning mega-superstars they would stoop to the level of the WWE?

I wouldn't knock TNA if you are a fan of a promotion whose money is, it seems, lavished almost entirely on the ridiculous levels of razzmatazz and pyrotechnics that make up the backbone of it's two shows. I once saw a TV show recently called Dream Machines where these guys had to convert a car into something called the InCENArator for John Cena which spits fire and all manner of firework-y shit. WTF? All that for ONE man. I wonder if Vince paid for it and if so how much. Then theirs the ridiculous dancing and prancing of buffoons like that 7ft Indian fella and his Irish dwarf friend and the bravado of the other mid-carders. Quite embarrassing for fans who just want the wrestlers to just wrestle.

Anyone read some of the tweets on the #AskDixie trend?

Is it true many of your talents are considering moving to North Korea because they would have better human rights there?

Seriously though i think the shit is starting to hit the fan for TNA.

TNA! TNA! TNA! TNA! TNA! TNA! TNA! TNA!

Q. Why does Cena do the Five-Knuckle Shuffle?
A. He is counting on how many moves he could do.

Q: How many WWE fans does it take to put up a light bulb?
A: None, they don’t need one. They all have to be in bed by 7pm.

The reason the WWE doesn't want the divas matches to be longer is because they don't want the divas to outshine the superstars.

It's such a shame. I reckon everyone without the surname McMahon wants TNA to be a success - it's simply good for pro wrestling to have it - but recently it's done a whole bunch of things that make me want it to fold:

  • Releasing Sorensen et al
  • Ignoring Zema Ion
  • Renewing Taz (especially in light of the above)
  • Paying Garret Bischoff
  • Paying Brooke Hogan
  • Reducing to 4 non-pretaped PPVs (the best bit of their product)
  • Having Hulk bastard Hogan on screen every 15 minutes

I could probably continue.
