Anyone heard the Half Moon Run album 'Dark Eye's?

Got to say I think it's marvelous... kind of loses it's way towards the end but the 1st half especially is top notch.

Kind of Macabees with a bit of Radiohead thrown in for good measure

Reminds me more of Fleet Foxes crossed with Radiohead.
 
Not exactly new, in fact it's been out about 9 months, but I can't stop listening to

Yes they were very good at the park stage on the friday at glasto
 
I know the album has had it's own thread but '...Like Clockwork' hasn't had much of a mention in here. Fuckin' mint 8-)

My only criticism is that it isn't that long (compared with SFTD) but this is a simple problem remedied by putting the album on repeat.

If you have the bass going on then 'Keep Your Eyes Peeled' is f***ing immense.

Lacks the stand out tracks of previous albums but is their best overall album IMO... far more rounded and I can happily listen to it from start to finish and not skip any tracks.
 
it's been a pretty poor year so far in my ears. there's only been handful of really good albums released. they seems to be a severe lack of good new bands coming through atm. in fact, it's been a bit dire for a while. it'll turn around at some point.
