Finn has almost single handedly lost this for us over the 5 days. Bowled some absolute pies and his fielding is awful.

spot on. wide long hops, dropped catches & misfields. that 1st over of his last 'spell' changed the momentum of the match. I hope he's thoroughly ashamed. deserves the abuse he's getting from boundary, utterly useless & an embarrassment.

here comes the scapegoating

IF we dont win, then there are a whole host of reasons why. Finn has a poor game and shouldnt be selected next test but he took two very important wickets in the first innings.

I dont think any single player could be blamed. IF we lose.

Just hoying out a glimmer of hope ;-)

Good man.

The trouble is, their final wicket stands in this test have contributed more than our entire first innings.:lol::oops:

And apart from the run out chance and Finn's drop in the deep, both Haddin and Pattinson look incredibly untroubled by anything we throw at them.

FWIW, I don't think this pitch is very good at all, too slow for the quicks and not a huge amount of turn for the spinners.

Amazed we didnt try some short pitched stuff into their ribs, too late now, not enough runs to play with

Is the pitch quick enough?

As I say, I reckon it's a pudding of a surface. It's produced a great test match but number 11 on a 5th day pitch shouldn't look as unconcerned and at ease at Pattison does.

Or maybe our bowling is just shite?:oops:
