Ne reason at all for Broard , or anyone else these days to walk. The edge was actually quite thin and ballooned of Haddin's glove to slip. The umpire was fooled by the deflection off the glove I think, he did bloody well to notice it!

Haven't read all through the thread, But Broard has scored another ten runs. Root and Trott may have just got a few more between them, and the tremendous Ashton Agar managed over ninety after he really should have been out stumped.

The only circumstance in which I would be happy to see us declare would be if we're still in at tea time and have a 400 run lead. Since that's very unlikely, I prefer the scenario mentioned a few posts back of bat as we have done until after lunch, then tee off and try and grind them down a bit, have them coming in hoping to save the game rather than win it.
