100 in a session is decent. Especially from only 26 overs.

Would've looked far prettier without that 2nd wicket

For betting types, the bookies have the runs per over line at 2.5. Overs has won 12 of the last 15 overs and should be taken as long as these two are there after the sarnie break.

Happy enough with that, 98/2 in those conditions is good going.

Trott is the man like, can see him getting a big score here. 8-)

If these two can bat out the session we will be looking very pretty.

That said, it's often famine or feast for KP - he either looks brilliant or terrible

Considering its the first morning, and in over head conditions, Id say the Aussie attack looks much less potent than some were suggesting. Yes there have been the odd quality delivery but that has usally been sandwiched by some absolute dross.

We really should only be one down (Cooks shot was very poor).

I'll have 50 quid on less than 2.5 people knowing what the fuck you are on about.

Pattinson will improve throughout this series.

Starc seems to be like Johnson, generally all over the place mixed with 4/5 wicket spells.

Surprised Hilfenhaus didnt make the squad in English conditions

In english please

For those wanting to bet....

Bookmakers have the 'runs per over' markets set at 2.5 runs per over, this means you can bet on whether there'll be 0-2 or 3+ runs in any given over. The 3+ bet has won three quarters of the time, turning a healthy profit. Therefore, look to this market after lunch, especially while these two batsmen are still in.

I did preface it by saying 'for betting types', it's not for you muggles...... :-D
