Squad is unchanged. Hard to really see who misses out..... I'd assume one of Rushworth or Thorp will come back in, that said, we may prepare a turner?! :shock:

Jeetan Patel, the kiwi, he's a good county spinner but nothing overly special.

Be a relief to get back to 20 wickets a day after Taunton
 
Wouldn't surprise me if they left Rushy out again.

Not sure what he's done to get dropped from the last two games.

Just checked the score from abroad and I must say 93-2 isn't bad at all. Of course I don't know what the conditions are like but I'd imagine it would be a better (more sporting) pitch than at Taunton.

Is anyone down? Or listening to Marty? Over the moon Richardson is still in and I'd actually like to see that (or at least a batsman at 8) as a more permanent fixture. With Stokes and Borthwick both key factors of the bowling attack batting in the top order I think that gives us the license to bat low down.

Might pop back on at Tea, would settle for 200-4 to be honest :-)
 
At the Riverside 93-2 normally represents a very good start. Obviously we all want 400 and the max bonus points but we have seen many a game were 250 in the first innings or even less has still been enough to win.

Anything over 300 and I would back us to win weather permitting.

I also thought that when he was at Durham (not seen much of him since). Seemed to have a bad spell of dorm and that was it, into the seconds then out the club whilst the other two mentioned have had countless chances.
 
You did wonder if the Coetzer face didn't fit somehow

Or maybe he just wanted more 1st team action, tbh
