After reading this I shall be giving The National a go (better be good ya fuckers!)

Likewise but I'd call it 'Alligator' like the pedant I am. Still their best album for me.

Yeah you could call it that. Just like i could call it 'Piss off Arkle'....

;-)

P.S You're right, easily their best album. In fact, it's easily in my top ten albums of all time.

It came out last year, but I've just discovered Sixto Rodriguez - Waiting for Sugar Man. It's absolutely class

other albums from this year:

First Aid Kit - The Lion's Roar

It's in mine as well. Any album with "Mr November", "The Geese of Beverly Road", "Abel", "All the Wine" and "Val Jester" on it would be up there even if every other track was "featuring Macklemore".

You missed out 'Karen', 'Lit up' and 'soho riots' too!

I know... I didn't even mention "Looking For Astronauts".

On other musical matters, the Public Service Broadcasting album is very good indeed!

Got the EP but haven't got round to buying the album yet. Might have a bit of a music splurge at the weekend. In fact, i've got about £80 worth of itunes vouchers to spend!
