India v England - 4th Test

Am caught up now....

What a horror of a decision against Cook. Reckon they've done that just to make a game of it?

6/4 on England seems generous, 100-2 already looks ahead of the curve on this pitch.

Only been in 5 minutes but Joe Root looks a different class to Bell and Compton.

Got to hope Prior can help fire us to 200+ then the bowlers can do the job. Fuck knows what a good score is on this pitch, but if we were bowling now and India were 142-5 I'd be pretty happy.

250 looks a good score on here, remember this is the best the pitch will be all match. I think it's more important to bat time here.

But don't worry, we have the man for the job......

KP and Cook papered over the cracks in the last two tests. As ive said before they are the only two capable of posting the big scores, if they dont fire together, we will forever struggle in Asia

Prior is half decent as well to be fair

Yes, you keep saying it. It's right up there with 'Hitler was bit of a twat' and 'that Lionel Messi is having a good year' for insight.... ;-)

Flat track bully. Only does it on green tops. Lets seem him do it on a bog of a pitch in Stoke in January.

Can you think of any team in history that is going to have success in India without their best players performing?

If we get close to 300, we can win this. The pitch is bloody awful !

Good session for us that. Honestly! I said we couldn't lose more than 1 wicket and we didn't, tomorrow we have 5 wickets in hand. I'd consider 50-5 a bad performance, but it would see us to 250. England must be thinking of 300 minimum though. If we get to that then it's a good days play (you would think) out of the game before they can get parity. I'd fancy our bowlers to protect 300 on this track.

I think England just about edge the day, cracks all over the pitch, variable bounce and no pace at all. 300 is a winning score on here.

Hopefully England can cobble together 300. Root looks a goodun', such good balance. How Compton was selected before him is a mystery. I can see Panasoup going for 1.5 an over on this. Shame Bresnan is playing but England will be in business with 100 more runs. History in the making.
