Onions would have been our best bowler at Lords. Like Philander it suited bowlers that bowl very straight and get a little movement.
Who would you have dropped? I agree with you on onions. I like him. Finn, Tremlett, Onions and Anderson is a potent attack like. All bring something differnt to the table. I would drop Swan and Broad.
We need to be more flexible with our bowlers depending on the conditions IMO
It appears that Broad and Anderson will play regardless of whether the conditions suit and I dont necessarily think thats the best policy.
