Taylor looked all over the place.
Bairstow's playing pretty well.

Realistically how long does Strauss have left...anytime a bowler goes around the wicket to him he looks like getting out. Not very good against Zaheer Khan either and he's the next text.

If it wasn't for the centuries against a weakened Windies attack and he wasn't captain he'd have been dropped. With the Ashes next year, we'd have to drop him after this test to give Cook time to lead and a blood in a new opener but i can't see the ECB doing it.

Good job by the Pigeon...

Saffers are class at starving us of runs at the moment.

How can anyone actually answer that as a fact?

If I was a stickler for facts I dont think the SMB would be a place for me. Give me speculation with authority and that will do.

No chance

We need Strauss now more than ever, fantastic leader and must for the ashes series.

Brilliant day's test cricket. This Yorkshire lad's not a bad little player. 8-)

Very Collingwood like is Jonny Bairstow, oh and his sister wad get it like!

Seems like Bairstow's done a bit to silence his critics today.

I'm still having money on him being the next wicket to fall tomorrow morning though, seems to happen all the time lately with England, a player resumes on a decent score and gets out straight away.
