Previosuly done very well and England have always won with im in the side, yep, his selection is truly amazing.

No matter how many times Atherton says this it doesnt make it true. He has plenty of years on his side but at present doesnt warrant a place.

England bat down to 10 with him in the team, and more often than not we don't need to bat that deep. I'd rather have Finn or Onions in the team who are better bowlers.
 
Just watched the highlights. Another cracking days Test cricket, the Windies are making a good fist of this series. England should get 400+ on that pitch though IMO. Draw is my prediction after day 1.

It will ruin the game over there if that happens though. As much as I support England I really want Sammy to get his hundred here.
