Yes. He asked a previous poster to bet £10, the other poster mocked, op asked him to raise the stakes, he did, op bottled it. I stand my opinion he's a bottler and a liar...

How am I a liar? Stop showing ya self up man

wasn't close enough to the second to comment but gordon had no chance for the first.
not a chance of cutting out the looping cross and once davies made a strong contact he made himself big and hoped, thats all he could really do from that range, pretty much point blank.
there was nobody anywhere near davies at the back stick.

As his number 1 fan, we await your sensible response to the points I've mentioned.

Name me a goalkeeper in the PL, who is commanding, comes out and claims corners, while also pulling off shot stopping reactions?

im not his numebr 1 fan, i just don't have agenda's against certain players and give a unbiased view.

2nd goal was horrific goalkeeping.

Ball comes in on the 6 yard box and a goalkeeper HAS to come for it, Gordon was rooted to the spot as usual.

Peter Shilton told my son not to always rush out like a headless chicken for every ball in the box, to trust your defense and get your position right.

He also added, 2 faults of current keepers are

1. punching, keepers should always try to catch and it seems now some keepers punch instead of catching, when they could have caught the ball. ( unless you have no chance of catching )

2. Keepers rushing out.

Was a canny keeper in his time and I think he knew his stuff to be honest.

edit*

also said keepers are getting to tall and that effects how they catch, and that's a reason for so many punches, something to do with the flight of the ball and angles.

nah can't be mate, at Sunderland just run at the ball and you are 'commanding'.

Keepers rushing out creates problems for the defence.

I have no idea where this myth that keepers are supposed to dominate the air and collect every high ball. It seems to have arisen after Gordon arrived. There's not a single keeper in the league that does it. Not one.

Watch Casillas at Real...

He's superb at coming out for the ball...;-)

How is Noble getting on with them 2 PL clubs who were interested.......

 his kicking today was much much better than Mignolet's.

If he is so shit on crosses, how did he catch every single ball he had to deal with today?

'Had to deal with' is the point in question. What Gordon decides is good to deal with and what a good keeper decides to deal with is somewhat different. It's the argument between 'What' and 'Should' that marks the difference here. He is scared.

show me where he was 'scared' today? If anybody is scared, it's the full backs who turned their back on every single cross.

Totally agree De Gea was branded shit after a couple of games , Gordon had no dodgey moments today at all. Caught everything he went for

it was the one he didn't go for that was the problem - defence should have pushed out and left him to deal with the 2nd goal, they didn't and he certainly didn;t

He scored the winner today for his current club.

Haters will always hate.

i will have to see it again, i don't know what the hell Kilgallon was doing trying to wrestle Davies and not even look at the ball.
