This is not Pure Football mate. On the cricket forum we support and praise the players, encourage them when they're going through a bad patch and offer constructive criticism when we spot flaws in their performance.

Well, apart from Stoneman and Muchall - they're just shite. ;-)

Colly is a sack of shit too, as safcdccc says ;-)

I read on here last season that MDV was finished

Good lad is Colly

57/4 at lunch. 2 for Onions and 1 each for Thorpe and Claydon.

Looks like it could be a low scoring game - not many runs being scored around the country at the moment.

Video from yesterdays play..... for all their money at Lords their cameras are shite

As for today and the rest of the game, it's hard to see a result from here. Hopefully there's some life in the pitch early for our bowlers. If we can get them all out for less than 200 this morning/afternoon then we can set about getting some batting points. I'm not sure chasing a win by playing shots would be the best option for us based on the Notts game, therefore perhaps the lads should just use this one as training??

As much as I'd love us to clean them up early, get a big lead by tonight and then put them back in!

There's surely not going to be a result now so we should just try and get maximum bonus points.

188 all out, 6 for Onions.

Going to take some graft to get bonus points today, top order is due a bit of form.

Hope against hope for 350 then declare, try and get for less than 150 tomorrow afternoon?

Optimistic I know....

Optimistic, but not impossible. We cant lose the game, so a matter of some batting bonus points and a dart at them for most of the final day hopefully.

Canny start! 21 off 1.4 overs so far.
