Blofeld off on one again. Bell has just been hit in the knee. Except it's Cook, as people in the background immediately point out. Only 4" in height between them like, and completely different physiques.

Somebody retire this annoying fool.

Give him a break Hetz. It's not like Cook has been a close-fielder for long man!:lol:

Did I just hear that Bell's lined up for 3 as Trott is unwell?

Apart from winning in Australia I am trying to think of a series which they have outperformed.

I fully expect them to beat Bangladesh away as they did and to beat Sri Lanka & India at home as they did. They were somewhat fortunate to draw in South Africa

If they remain number one after playing in India, Sri Lanka & Pakistan you hold your hands up and say fair play you have played all the major nations in their own back yard and are still number one.

Just read this post for the first time

EB at his best moving goalposts - 'I realise Engalnd have beaten everyone in front of them and drawn in SA but SA are the best in the world despite failing to beat teams England have done to get there'

I also dont recall him saying we would beat India but do recall him saying we shouldnt pick panesar for this game.

Yeah, after getting the runs in the first innings, he's got the runs in the 2nd before he's even batted:shock:

 One of our key players has got the Trotts.

Given who we're playing, I can help thinking of Gordon Banks in 1970.

Bell was padded up because Trott couldn't bat before 1.40 (having left the field to sit on the pot). Our innings started about 1.20 so ultimately they had to pad someone up.

Not sure whether Trott would come in now we're past that time but that atleast was the immediate logic.

Im not sure I can bear watching 3 hours of Pakistan cricketers sounding like they are being castrated live on TV....

At least you can turn the telly sound off and watch pictures. I have to turn the radio sound off when Blofeld comes on.
