Re: Newcastle in talks with Cisse

Campbell is shit if we're honest.

Wickham - vary happy with him, think he's a real real prospect.

Ji - undecided, doubtful

Bendtner - Good player, happy to have him but sadly he won't be ehre enxt season. So the best striker we have is 18 years old

As for gyan i'd love him back, but this board are all going to boo him if he ever plays for us again, that will end well.

And?

We have one of the best managers around and he is doing what he sees fit. If that means not signing a 10 million quid striker that most people have never heard of, them fair enough.

He showed loads of potential before his injury so if was being honest then no, he's not shit.

He might get a few jeers from selected idiots. It wont last long though, all it would take was a few goals and all will be forgiven.

Re: Newcastle in talks with Cisse

I was confident we would finish above them since MON took over not anymore. Doesn't look like we will sign anyone in this window, opportunity missed

Yeah, because no one ever signs anyone after the 17th Jan like. Have a word with yourself man.

it's just annoying to see somebody who we have been linked to heavil;y since the summer and even make a bid for iirc, suddenly end up signing for them in a big money move from nowhere. And we continue to be loaning playings and singing south korean headless chickens.

It would be bad if he signed for blackburn/villa when we had the chance, being newcastle it just makes it worse.

You're normally the first poster on here moaning about how 'obsessed' Sunderland fans are with the mags yet today you are in complete meltdown over a striker they might sign, grow a set of balls man.

£10M fee agreed

Pardew's not signing a striker this window though..

we will see mate.

I never expected much this window and i've said for a while we won't go out and splash big money on players in the next 2 year or so imo. After the reports i recent days it seemed like we could have actually been interested in him but he is going to go to Newcastle. We shouldn't be surprised i suppose.

Not going to be suicidal, it's just a massive kick in the balls.

Re: Newcastle in talks with Cisse

 just like we have "replaced bent" in the last 2 windows? the clubs words not mine.

i just find it frustrating

We spent up to 13mil on Wickham, plus the money spent on Ji and Bendtner and that will add up to 16mil+ on 3 strikers since Bent left. Despite which we still seem to have an interest in adding another striker during this window.

Who gives a fuck if it's not Papiss Cisse, for 10mil I think we could do better, no matter how good a signing he could/would/might be.

Re: Newcastle in talks with Cisse

is there any chance we can keep all the mass panic on the one thread? It's getting difficult to click on multiple links while I run round the office screaming with my arms in the air

No, he's not. But he would never score 22 goals in a season in Germany. And let's not talk about Ba...
