dont be fooled by the figures being produced by the aussie seamers

this pitch is a disgrace to test match cricket and i will be very surprised if the game goes three days, weather permitting

not one of the totally biased commentators out there have said this thought

mainly due to the aussies winning.

Spot on mate.

Looks worse than some of the uncovered shite that we play on sometimes.

Looked so green that you couldnt differieniate between the wicket and the outfield.

This.

Watched the first few overs last night. Ryder was unlucky to be given out LBW, there was a clear hotspot mark on his bat very close to where the ball passed and yet the umpire's not out decision was changed. TBF to Mark Taylor who was commentating, he said it was unfair to give him out.

Agree the wicket is too green, but then it is in Tasmania (not really Australia:-D)

I didn't see much yesterday, it seemed there was a lot of swing as well as movement off the pitch.

Looked more like NZ conditions too me.

As for Aussies winning, I'm not counting my chickens just yet.

Looks a bit spicey. Like playing at Houghton. One keeps low then next ball it gets sharp bounce.

Noticed Slater managed to get a dig in against the english 10 mins ago regarding Trott being from SA.

I can't stand him, gobshite twat. Most of Australia's commentators are actually, listening to them makes me realise how good Sky's commentary team is.

wicket is more than lively. still, suppose its balanced out by the absolute dead beds of india.

saying that, some of the shot selections form both sets have been baffling to say the least.

new zealand should go on to win this, however i reckon they'll blow it.

Not confident -given the Aussie openers are still playing and comfortably missing, I think NZ will win this.

Hughes will be gone shortly.

Does the fact New Zealand had not won a test match in Australia for 26 years put into context our Ashes win, whereby although it was nice to beat them, it wasnt hard
