My mate has took his son down to Brighton today and will be at Hove for the first 3 days of this one, I'm very jealous of him!

Our squad, a 14-man one:

MJ Di Venuto (23)
MD Stoneman (26)
WR Smith (2)
GJ Muchall (24)
PD Collingwood (5)
DM Benkenstein (44)
ID Blackwell (37)
P Mustard (19) Captain/keeper
SG Borthwick (16)
ME Claydon (25)
G Onions (9)
CD Thorp (36)
C Rushworth (22)
MA Wood (33)

I'd leave Smith, Muchall and Rushworth out to be honest. I think Rocky will open again, With Colly 3, Benk 4 and Blackie 5, we would have a long tail like but I think Smith has failed too many times. None of the bowlers can really be blamed for the Notts debacle, all of them bowled well IMO, so Brathwaite's exclusion is a surprise.

I'm still clinging onto the hope that we can still win the title. Until it is impossible for us to win it I'll still have faith! However for us to do so we'll have to win both games and claim next to maximum batting points in the both. Mind with the fixtures we have left we have every chance. With any luck next week will be very damp around the country, meaning low point draws for all involved!

There should be some radio coverage for this one as Sussex cover all of their CC games I beleive. Sure their lads were up Durham earlier in the season, hopefully Marty will get his voice on their airwaves at some point too, even if BBC NUFC won't pay for him away from home!
