Fuck me, the excuses are out already. This is priceless :lol:

I may be wrong, but it seems like The Ashes are the only 5 test series anywhere in the world now.

Andy the question still stands.....

Think you're right, shows the decline of test cricket I suppose. I remember the Ashes in 1997 actually being a 6 match series.

The daftest thing is, we don't seem to have fewer tests in English summers anymore, it's just that the first touring team seems to get 1 test too many. We'd have been much better with 2 tests v SL this summer and then 5 with India (instead of 3/4).

Jimmy Anderson now has Tendulkar 7 times in Tests, only one short of the record of 8 that Murali has.

Great stuff.

Indeed, 5-0 would have looked better than 4-0 ;-)

1981 was a 6 test series too.

I can't help myself, it's just too much fun laughing at some of the ridiculous stuff you come out with. Shame really because when you're not banging on about Jimmy/Saj/Broad/Swann/whoever the fuck all I agree with a lot of the stuff you've said, but now you come across as nothing more than a wind-up merchant.

it will take them two tests to warm up and get use to the conditions, not stupid is our Hugh

So what if it does?

Are you going to discount all the other results in the past when people have visited another country because it wasn't fair that they had to "get use to the conditions" in a sport in which the climate and conditions are a fundamental aspect?

Why are you all arguing with someone who is clearly on a wind-up?
