In all seriousness he reminds me of some of the Aussies who got into their side when they were beating everyone in sight. They were bigged up to be far better than what they were because they were playing with some greats of the game

Similar now if you take out KP, Trott, Broad, Cook and Prior were not that great

eh?

Like to see us playing South Africa, don't know what's happened to India but they're toothless just now, absolutley toothless.

Don't want to get carried away but this team looks imperious, properly great, at times. Aggressive and powerful in the ascendancy, full of fight and heart when the chips are down, and more or less excellent with bat and ball.

So if you take out five players out of 11, the majority of them front line batsmen, who are kind of important in cricket, then we're not that great?

How very astute of you

Likewise if you get rid of Spain's best players, they won't be as good at football either. Staggering I know.

Yeah, be fair. I mean, India look really as though they're in this, it's been a very close series.

Not in real life or anything, but you know...somewhere I suppose.

to be fair I didnt realise Ghambir, Khan and Harby would follow Sehwag into the treatment room

sad for cricket really

there is such a paucity of quality test cricket played these days that when the top sides play each you want to cherish the qaulity of cricket on display

I don't think there's much wrong with Harby, they barely bowled him as he's been taking a hiding so a slight niggle is just an excuse to not use him as much.

Either way, England have 3 injuries too or do they not count?

trott injured, tremlett injured, swann injured..... the best sides have depth.

india are quickly realising they are completely out of their depth! 8-)

depends what you classify as an injury

Khan, Sehwag and Ghambir werent in the chosen 11 and all have 50 plus tests behind them

Tremlett has had played 10 tests.

Were there any other injured players I missed

No, that's fair enough, but you're the one saying "Oh so there's only been two tests played so far" implying that there's a contest here.

the only thing wrong with harbi is he hasnt been able to bring his dust bowl deck with him. he's now on decks which are prepared for him and he is being completely and utterly destroyed.

actually, there is one other thing wrong with him, he's a smug podgey faced wanker!

If I were a betting man id back India to draw 2-2

depends how long their stars are out injured.

Shame.

Was really looking forward to watching Jimmy against Sehwag and Ghambir

That's just like say if you take Messi, Xavi and Pique out of Barcelona they aren't that good. What a stupid thing to say.

Just in case any of yous were concentrating on the cricket and not heard the hilarious news from up the road: Joey Barton has been RELEASED by Newcastle.
