Disagree, but hope he becomes that, certainly has the potential too.

has an aura about him and the ability to change a game on his own with either bat or ball

was backed to the hill top by myself as anyone worth their salt could see he was class

:lol: if you do say so yourself ;)

Think Flintoff had more of it than Broad does.

Fred was just one of the common people who liked a beer and the public warmed to him

Broad is the real deal. Its embarrasing reading some of the stuff on here

Bresnan for Broad :lol::lol:

So Flintoff didn't change games with bat or ball?

People said Broad should be dropped and have a bowl in county cricket. He was dropped from the ODI against Sri Lanka, picked up a 5 for in county cricket and has been on form for England since.

Everyone knows better than EB ;)

fred had one good series in his entire career and underperformed in the vast majority of the rest

EB's selective memory strikes again. No one on here doubted the lad's talent, but his form was terrible, being dropped from the ODI against Sri Lanka looks to have been a great decision based on his form so far this series.

He rediscovered what he could do playing for Notts, took some key wickets at Lord's and has swung the game back into the balance today after it looked like India were completely in control.

What are your opinions on Jimmy's performance from Lord's? You seem to have missed the threads discussing how he played on Monday.
