Summat like that.
For the record, I'm not calling for him to be dropped. I'd drop a bat and take some responsability away from him.
Who though?

Morgan. Tough on him as he hasn't done anything wrong, but I'm happy with Prior, Swann and Broad at 6,7 and 8.

No thanks. Won't get away with that against a strong side.
Morgan? Are you for real? At least he's made a f***ing contribution to the side, Broads done fuck all and never will
We won't get them out if we bowl like we have against SL. I like five bowlers in a side, always have.
Hush yourself, that's just a stupid comment.

Hes for real - a bloke with a cricketing brain who knows the value at times of a 5 man bowling attack. Broads a good cricketer who is short of form but will turn it around sooner or later.
Sorry mate, but his test stats dont back up that post.
It wasnt that long ago Jimmy had a career average in the mid 30s
if it werent for the alarming drop in standard of test cricket/emergence of 20/20 he still would

So then why is Broad's average in the mid-30's?It wasnt that long ago Jimmy had a career average in the mid 30s

So when Bell's form improves it's because he's come good, when Jimmy does it it's because test cricket has got worse.
There are a lot more world class batsmen out there than there are bowlers. This was proven by one of the sky commentators yesterday. Ian Bell is 17th in the world batting rankings, Jerome Taylor is 17th in the world bowling averages, now which one of them is the better cricketer?
Fair enough; and I actually agree he shouldn't be dropped. Despite his recent poor form he's still a long way ahead of the likes of Finn and Shahzad (who went at 7's against Durham today).Because Jimmy has had the best part of 8 years in and out of the test arena to turn himself into a decent bowler
Broad is having a dip at the minute, all test players have one
The current 3 plus Onions are comfortably our best quicks IMO. If Onions is selected against India instead of Broad it wouldn't be outrageous but I think we will stick with what we have and on balance I think its the right way to go.
