Gerrin Broad, rip through 'em!

quote off cric info

Santanu: "I feel glad Broad has got a wicket. He really deserves his place and he assists the other bowlers well. I cant understand why people are so against him."

Because the English always need a boo boy and someome to moan about. He is also brash, agressive and doesnt like losing, the english arent use to this win at all costs mentality.

becoming a recurring theme.

Bangladesh last year and the windies before them.

cant we just have a five test series against the Indians throughout July and August

Some good points in this part of the thread about the calendar but I must admit I dont particularly like or agree with the acceptance given to touring countries about being 'not interested'. If they arent they should be - I dont think for example we would be so quick to excuse our players for not being arsed playing in 120 degrees in Columbo where the batsmen are pouring sweat out of their helmets every couple of overs. I think SLs poor batting performaces have been more down to an inability to play bounce and the moving ball which should always be a key part of test cricket.

I though Broad was excellent for the most part today - i couldnt understand where the pundits were coming from.

:eek::eek::lol:

Bowled ok so far but Nightwatchman is still in.

Boycs doesnt seem to think so...

"We're not going to bowl them out unless we bowl straight, they've hardly had anything to play at today. If you're a Sri Lankan sat in the dressing-room, thinking 'it's gonna rain at three o'clock', you'd be very happy with how things are going so far. And why did they have a third man for Jimmy Anderson this morning? I must've been taught the wrong game."

I'm not watching at the minute like, couldnt find a stream that would work at college.
