I prefer the upper County Durham stand as you get a great view of the game (and it's the only part of the ground I can see the red ball being bowled for some reason).
wasnt mate.
barmy army was only 55.
i went for the 75 ones, almost behind the bolwers arm cos last time i was in the barmy army bit at durham (WIndies) it was cramped (temp stand) and was full of knackers singing anti mag/sunlun songs.
edit: has the dates down for each day (suggesting a mon - fri test), however the letter says the dates arent concrete as of yet. hmmm......
It's crap that the test match is mon-fri and not over the weekend.
ODI ticket bought in the CD Stand & waiting to get paid before buying test match tickets.
shoe-in random dates them.
We have bought up most of the south terrace.
It wont be monday to friday
how are people getting invites
it wont be monday to friday
The official ticketing website says day 4 (Thursday)
Rip Van Fish said:maybe so, but the actual dates will not be finalised for another twelve months.
IT WILL NOT START ON A MONDAY!

Hope your right.
Seems abit stupid to advertise the days though.

thats where our tickets are for, but back of the lower.
sat there on sunday to see what it was like and it was spot on!
Really hope there's some seats left come September, but I doubt there will be.

these on general sale now?
thought it was for members only gonna sort mine out tonight
The Lambton Worm said:Nope. Its only for members and people who've bought tickets for other games* previously either by phone or from the box office.
General sale begins on 15/08/11 for the ODI and October onwards for the test if there's any left for either. The ODI is nearly a sell out.
* I think it has to be international games as I know some people in Birmingham who've received letters like the OP and they've only ever been up here for ODIs.
It's not mate. I officially have no purchase history but signed up last night and got them.
