Agreed mate, my favourite pew too. The tickets are pricey but given that the cheapest ticket for Edgbaston '09 was £75 from memory Durham deserve some praise.

i went for the 75 ones, almost behind the bolwers arm cos last time i was in the barmy army bit at durham (WIndies) it was cramped (temp stand) and was full of knackers singing anti mag/sunlun songs.

edit: has the dates down for each day (suggesting a mon - fri test), however the letter says the dates arent concrete as of yet. hmmm......

This. ECB want their showpiece on a weekend. Are we first test? Cardiff started on a Weds last time to enable the Lords test to have a Thursday start...
 
Looking on the Durham CC TalentArena the £55ers are just about gone:shock:

Have £75ers Day 2 and four in the temp seating Day 3. If you want tickets I suggest you get sorted ASAP lads.

thats where our tickets are for, but back of the lower.
sat there on sunday to see what it was like and it was spot on!

Nope. Its only for members and people who've bought tickets for other games* previously either by phone or from the box office.

General sale begins on 15/08/11 for the ODI and October onwards for the test if there's any left for either. The ODI is nearly a sell out.

* I think it has to be international games as I know some people in Birmingham who've received letters like the OP and they've only ever been up here for ODIs.
