Well I’m sure when a better candidate emerges, KS will be shifted on

As for Batth and Gooch, one can’t get a game ahead of a CM playing at the back at his new club, and we have three, possibly four better RBs than Gooch

Gooch didn’t play right back and that was his biggest asset his versatility.
Batth alongside Ballard was easily the best centre back pairing.

So he won POTY last year, that means he should be guaranteed a job forever? He looked well off it in pre-season and in August, and he’s gone to a team below us in the league with a worse defensive record and their manager still thinks Kenny McClean is better than him. All the probabilities are stacked in the favour of a good decision to move on.

We certainly haven't missed Gooch and Batth does look like he's a bit over the hill. Seelt looks a decent replacement.

We've already replaced Prichard with Dack, similar age and position. He needs to step up to the plate when he's fit again.
 
We’re still building and certainly not ready for the Premiership yet.

Absolute bollox a proper c/h next to Ballard.
Like O’Nien but he’s not a real c/h like Batth who was outstanding and then moved on because he doesn’t fit the model, awful decision.
Along with loads more this season.

We haven’t missed either of them, we’ve conceded less this year than this stage last year. We were also 9th as opposed to 7th, aka well in the play off mix but no one was massively twisting on

Define “real Centre Half” He’s too slow now. Again. If he’s “outstanding” why does he not get a game in a defence that’s 12 goals worse off than ours?

Sounds like they have absolutely took the piss out of Pritchard. Still no sign of a proven striker or will the club pretend burstow is the answer now he has scored one. Seems we are struggling to even get a deal done for Styles from Barnsley. I’ll always support the team don’t get me wrong but there is still loads of issues that need resolving. Boro next week will show is where we are at as a team too.

But I thought our high performance culture had us identifying targets during the period the window is shut.

Or is it just waiting til the end of the window for the scraps or to save ourselves a months wages.

Looking forward to Gelhardt and Anderson type signings to really give us a boost.
