Good manager when he's working on a tight budget but absolutely hopeless when given decent money to spend, so not too convinced he'd have been the right man after sacking Bruce.

He'd probably be Short's ideal manager now like.

Remember when Hughes was linked with us ? The majority of us didn't want him near the club IIRC.
Doing a great job.....

Thats not the way I remember it, most would of been happy with either, but preferring MON because of the bloke and agents link.

Nobody was saying we should of got Hughes when he fell flat on his arse at QPR.

We've lost the same amount of games as Stoke anarl ! its the bloody draws that are killing us

O'Neill was the correct appointment at the time for us. Its very easy to forget the impact he had here for the first four months of his tenure and was just what we needed after the negative atmosphere under Bruce. Hughes wouldnt have brought that.

Hughes is a good manager if he has a sound platform already in place for him.

Bardsley not good enough for us though.

Im sure I heard some Stoke supporter saying Bardsley wasnt first choice when they are at full strength. Havent paid enough attention to argue either way like

He is doing a very good job, odious individual.

Write QPR from his CV and he has had an excellent management career. Couple of backward clubs in there too in Blackburn and Stoke.
