Steak - Best in Sunderland?

So far as I know, no restaurant currently lays an undisputed claim to offering the best steak in town.

Can anyone recommend?

Also - as I shall not be going to a restaurant this evening but want a steak, I'd like to know of fine purveyors of steak to self cook.

I was invited into the kitchen at maze grill the other night ,the chef was explaining to me how to cook the perfect steak

I couldn't understand a word he said , his Italian accent was so strong

Had a meal with a mate and his mates on Monday in belgos, they were telling me how incredible maze is the best in town USDA beef blah blah blah.

We were 100 yards from hawksmore

I'll also pointed out that anyone in Britain who buys american beef is a **** ,
