I've got labour on my twitter feed and they keep banging on about hedge fund tax relaxation and millionaires making out with all the money. I've asked repetitively who ed ball's brother works for and how many front benchers are millionaires. no response obviously,.
Irrelevant questions if they are willing to pay the tax if levied. You keep letting your financial industry bias show, you tease!

how are they irrelevant?
If they are millionaires they probably pay tax and if his brother works in an industry it doesn't mean he make the rules for that industry. As I say, show your true colours. I am a socialist and detest the Tories, any policy they come up with is of no benefit to a lower class Briton.

Very good speech in my opinion.

He will be getting my vote but unfortunately I may as well wipe my arse with the voting slip whilst I live in Sunderland.
I had this for years down in Surrey
As a lad always voted Labour and could never have effected the result in a million years
Having moved over to the dark side and also hoping to move home in time the boot's on the other foot.
Can't win

The 40p tax rate is paid by the top 15% of earners, who will now be getting a tax cut. Raising the personal allowance to £12.5k will benefit the richest by 4 times as much as the poorest.

So, once again Tories looking after rich people, paid for by cuts to services for the poorest.

I can clearly see the benefit of raising the personal allowance to the lowest earners. However, these top earners benefit too.

The fine detail should include no change in personal allowance if earning over £40,000 and the 40p band staying where it is.

Raising the tax free allowance will benefit the richest by fuck all.
But let's not let facts get in the way.

On the flip side, the inevitable cuts in services will result in me spending any savings on private healthcare and the like.

Smarmy sackless twat!

"Hello, can I have a fire engine, my house is on fire"!!

"Do you have your private fire engine insurance policy number there sir"?

"Err, no, sorry. I don't have a private fire engine insurance policy"

"Oh, I am sorry sir. The nearest available public service fire engine is in Glasgow. It should be with you in about two and a half hours"

"How much is this private fire engine insurance"?

"It's about £80 a year sir"

it's totally disingenuous. showing your colours again there. labour do not give a fuck about you. or me.

So we need to cut £25bn from the budget, but also think we have more money than we need so can afford to reduce the tax intake?

Oh well, at least they've kept up the tradition of tax cuts before an election.
amazingly the tax revenue is as big as it ever has been. what the fuck is it being spent on?!?!?!

People on more than 100k have their tax allowance reduced. At 120k you have zero personal allowance. If the same rules apply this will increase to 121k. So no benefit for top earners.

From £10.5k to £12.5k

And 40p Threshold to rise from £41k to £50k

ThIs is UKIP's policy.

Stolen today just like a number of others. Can you believe he would endorse us like that?
