Oatcake happy - Neil sacked!

He’s a god lol , if your boys hadn’t of won at Cardiff and lost we would be 4 points behind you , crazy or what
Cracking result for your boys at Cardiff 👏👏👏

That'll be them safe now, but what a disastrous season considering the money they spent (and blew).

Was always the risk given we needed so many in through the door. Early on we looked decent but soon collapsed.

Should be an interesting summer.

Looks like Jon Walters is going to get the Technical Director gig permanently, which again will be interesting.

Some very worried posters over there tonight.

With Sheffield Wednesday (A) and Plymouth (H) to come you'd have to think they'll have enough, but results over the last couple of weeks have really dragged them back in.

Regardless, it's a far cry from the promotion challengers shouts after their summer spending spree.

Not many would have predicted they'd be going into the final month of the season with a serious threat of going down!

Stoke really are a basket case. Is there any other example of a championship club who have spent a good 5-6 years really striving to get back up to the premier league yet finishing bottom half on every occasion? Obviously bigger clubs than them like us, Derby, Wednesday … have made that plunge into league one, but that owed to poor ownership/historical bad spending resulting in fire sales etc. Stoke have ‘given it a go’ yet continuously failed.

Stoke City versus Shrewsbury Town has a nice ring to it
