It's creating a culture in society where any actual or perceived criticism or action against minority groups is not tolerated. Initially it challenged historical wrongs done against many minority groups however like many movements its activists can't see when the job is done and always want more and more. Which leads to people being afraid to challenge the actions of a section of a minority group for fear of being labelled racists and hence 100's of children continue to get raped.
