Hummel

Pretty sure there can’t be on shirts still even though skybet are sponsoring the EFL

We need to get rid of that bloody black and white Hays Travel logo mind.

It’s not even their corporate colours and was put forward by a senior-ish lad from Hays (who is a mag) in full expectation that it would be questioned/ rejected…..but it wasn’t.
Black is the obvious choice for something to stand out on our kit.

VAUX was black.

We wear black shorts and often have black trim.

Like Mags saying they don't eat ketchup because it's red, pathetic.

This will be the last year of spreadex, the problem the club have is finding a non betting company willing to pay the money

I hear they're going to put the County Durham coat of arms on the collar, but change the colour of the cross from gold to purple to signify the area's rich multicultural heritage.
Speckled black and red collar to represent hundreds of years of the pit workers blood ,sweat and dirt , toiling in the mines!

Apparently they arnt
Where have you heard that mate? They have reproduced the old style retro Hummel shirts for the other clubs they have been with. Southampton, Boro and Coventry all had official Hummel reruns made

That Coventry shirt is fantastic. The club and Hummel would be crazy not to do this with our classic designs — they’d sell an absolute tonne of them.

Easy rebadge and sponsor job aswell if they are already making that yellow design for Coventry. It wouldn’t make any sense to not do it!

They'd fly out.

That might be the point. To avoid market cannibalisation. When so many supporters have such an affinity with the older kits, as is the case at Sunderland, you might see fans buy (probably slightly) cheaper retro remakes over the new ones.

No idea if other clubs that previously had Hummel had such an affinity with old kits mind.

I'd be waiting outside the shop on release day. I've got the official Spurs yellow Hummel retro top - its beautiful.
