I don't think he'll go to the Euros so would be inclined to agree with you but he's actually perfect for the way Southgate will want us set up with two holding. Incredibly calm and composed, strong defensively both winning the ball back & keeping hold of it and is also comfortable moving the ball whether it be playing safe or going forward.

Declan Rice is the only other centre mid we've got who has the sort of strengths he does although a fit and in form Leeds version of Kalvin Phillips does as well.

Pretty freakish how all round talented he appears to be so far.
