Anyone reckon we might see some transfer action....

If you look at some of the teams in the Premier League:

Begovic, Bardsley, Shawcross, Wilson, Pieters, N'Zonzi, Whelan, Walters, Bojan, Moses, Crouch are currently in the top half.

Speroni, Kelly, Dann, Hangeland, Ward, Puncheon, Jedinak, Ledley, Bolasie, Chamakh, Gayle are currently above us.

Heaton, Trippier, Keane, Shackell, Mee, Boyd, Marney, Jones, Arfield, Barnes, and Ings, are currently level with us.

This season has been a massive underperformance. It could change quickly, with the right results in the next couple of games, but with the lineups getting more defensive, Poyet now two thirds of the way through the season and not knowing his best side, Poyet starting to blame the fans, the crowd beginning to turn, I don't see those positive results coming tbh.

I reckon Poyet currently has a fortnight left in his job, unless he changes something quick.

They were yesterday. Larsson looking at the bench in the first half waving his hands around. Playing 5-2-2 when Rodwell was sent off. There were three players stood on the pitch having a meeting at one point when the ball went out of play. Poyet was noticeably off his bench a lot less yesterday as well - there didn't seem to be much clarity coming from there.
I know that's why I think they've lost faith in him.

One one occasion, Wickham had just come on, within minutes the ball had went out of play and he was on the touchline getting directions what to do. Could that not have been conveyed a few minutes before when he was coming off the bench

The whole Wickham substitution was ballsed up. First it was the wrong substitution (at least on its own) even with 11 men on the field because he wasn't going to get the ball.

Then, with Wickham stood ready to come on, Rodwell was sent off. That completely changed the game, but Poyet didn't seem to adjust to that at all - he didn't pause, ask Wickham to sit back down, bring someone else on as well, he just sent Wickham on regardless. As a result, we were playing 5-2-2. For about 5 minutes, we were getting pulled all over the place, the whole thing was a shambles. At that point, Defoe, Larsson, and someone else had a meeting in their half on the pitch while the ball was out of play, presumably to try and sort out who played where.

We seemed to then move towards at least attempting a 3-4-2 formation, which saw a slight improvement, and we certainly didn't notice the absence of the third defensive midfielder.

Meanwhile Poyet stayed stationary on the bench, occasionally waving a hand in the air.
