I am convinced Saker is a double agent. He seems to have focused all his efforts on one player (Woakes) who, while 'tidy' is never going to be a frontline fast bowler. Everyone else has regressed under his tenure.

Why the fuck did the ECB allow Troy Cooley's contract to expire? The man was the best thing to happen to English fast bowling in 75 years.He is now turning out fast bowler after fast bowler for the Aussies.

Hardly earth shattering news TBF. Cook was religiously sticking to 'the plan' on the tour of NZ in 2013. Every single captaincy decision made in that series was cautious and predictable and felt like it had been made in the dressing room before the match.
