Pretty obvious really. Spacing them out gives them the chance to build a demand for each one, separate marketing campaigns, a chance to push sales for each one and a chance to change the displays in the shops to promote them separately.

Bring them all out together and they all just merge into one.

Hopefully the rumours on a nice looking white kit are right, makes sense bringing the best one out last as people who've already bought one of the others can be tempted into buying another.

Really, no pattern at all in the way the club manages it business operations, as two years ago the 3rd kit wasn't even available for purchase!!

With regards to third kits, anyone know if there has been a rule change recently with regards to kits? seems like the majority of the league and some of the championship has released three kits this year, probably just a money spinning exercise saying all this
