Mags are a comfortable mid table PL side, think the highest I saw them was 6th one season...But aye, they're never as bad as we are on any FM.

Did you holiday years ahead?

Did it on mine to about 2030 and Bournemouth were the premier league & European champions. We were in league 2!

Aye, got fed up of us being that shit and just started a proper game instead.

Danny Welbeck is manager in 2031, we've had back to back promotions that I forgot about, we are back CH. Got a shot on of the teams in there (it'll probably go in upside down so I'll stick an upside down one in). Liverpool were in but got promoted

Started a new one. Got Forest promoted automatically and lost in the FA Cup semi to Chelsea. Sold Assombalonga for £16m ( ) to Liverpool with a 50% of next sale clause. Signed Rhodes as his replacement for £8.5m.

Lost my first two games vs Chelsea and NUFC but I'm currently on a 5 game winning streak and have just battered WBA 0-6.

I'm using my own created formation of 2 at the back and it's outrageously good.

Me favourite thing about FM is when you're deep into the game and you see the little teams come up and bigger teams fall into nothingness.

Exeter City are flying high in the Championship whilst Blackpool are in the Conference with the likes of FC United of Manchester and Blyth Spartans

I`m nearly into the 2040s on mine and Exeter are doing well in the championship on mine also.

Portsmouth have been in the conference for over 20 year, Preston are in Conference North with a load of other teams like bury and mansfield etc

Leicester have been in League 2 for years, same as Burnley

Huddersfield and Peterboro are regulars in the top flight, Barnsley are going that way as well.

An ageing Connor Wickham manages the filth, Charlie Mulgrew heads up the lads.

Need yer help lads. I'm leaving Barrow when my contract expires and I want to move a new Nation as England is just plain boring and too easy when you're stable in the Premier League.

I need a Nation with;
Not too much money (Rules out England or Germany)
Doesn't have 1 team dominating the league every season (Rules out Scotland, Germany and Ukraine etc)
With decent enough investment be able to go through Champions League qualifiers

Turkey, Belgium, Russia, Portugal?

Rules out Champions League games though.

*delete as appropriate.

For full blown hardship try Brazil though, their leagues literally never end. With the Copa Libertadores, regional league, main league and various cups it never ends. Plus you always have the big European clubs pinching all your talent. Had a few years with Sao Paolo but it was rock.

Serie A is always interesting if you fancy the Champions League though, plenty of teams with potential.

I did Brazil in FM14 with Santos post-Neymar, it's not easy

I've narrowed it down to Russia, Belgium or Switzerland. I've always wanted to do Ireland but you get £40,000 for winning the league it's narrowly impossible to compete in Europe.

Started a save with Gateshead in the Vanarama Conference.

Signed a load of loan players (incl. Watmore).

Currently sitting top of the league and unbeaten in 31 games.
Worried about if I get promoted that I won't be able to replace my loan stars (5/11 starters are loanees)

Anyone know of any good players for league 2 for fairly cheap?

Alex cisak (carlise) angelino (Man City) dion conroy (Chelsea) dale fry (biro) barmby (Plymouth) Simon lenighan (Harrogate) yusuf Coban (Stoke) Khius Metz (burnley) all the real players when I won league 2 with Harrogate

Finally had a game with Sunderland, going class so far (got rid of pretty much everyone :) ).

One I kept was Wickham but he's had the luck of a pig.

Picked up a sprained ankle, then torn hamstring, then ligament bother and then a hernia. Didn't really play for around 14 months then he was finally nursed back to fitness.

Made his first start in 16 months against Hull and scored about an hour in!

Ten minutes later.....some **** snaps him...broken leg :(:(:(

Looking nailed on for a 10th/12th place finish with the lads in my first season scoring plenty with the tactic I've made also shipping in quite a few hopefully it'll work better once I get better players

Rodwell seems to get injured every game as does Wickham

Stick the tactic up you're using. I'm the same scoring plenty but concede 3 or 4 far too many times.

Into the 2nd season and brought 3 major signings in - Javier Hernandez 7.5m, Benedict Howedees 16m and Nacho for 8m.

This game is still bullshit isn't it. Won 5 games on the trot, comfortable 3-0 wins as well, before it decides to crash dump (wtf is that) and close the game down. I reload and play the games again, struggling to a couple of shitty wins and lose the rest, I've now lost f***ing 6 players to crippling injuries and my team who finished just short of a Champions League place last season now can't even f***ing beat League 1 sides at home.

3 players sent off, 4 injuries and just got dicked by the Hull-em Globetrotters 7-1

realistic as fuck this game

think this goes beyond wearing a suit for a cup final...

yep....beyond sad, although there is a mint tweet in amongst that, 2035 and the MLS is still shite, im not moving to the Nashville Power Ballads :lol:

I've actually pinpointed the worst part of this game.

If you come across a flavour of the month player, See Kane, Sterling, Sturridge or Grealish then its actually cringeworthy how overpowered they are in game.
you just cant get near them, i've just had Grealish walk through my entire team lobbing the keeper 25 yards out....embarrassing, dont get me started on Sterling either
