If the fee was to be paid when we stayed up what happened after that is irrelevantIf he isn't our player then I can't imagine us paying the full money, probably a percentage of it.

Shambles.... a pattern here ... Alvrez and M'Villa, you cannot expect to give your word and sign a contract and expect to weasel out of it...its not acceptable ot professional.
In all seriousness, it's this kind of behind the scenes shenanigans that Moyes is on about when he talks about something not being right.
No. People will still wonder why Short employed these idiots in the first instance. And people will still wonder why Short won't just pour more money in and shut up.
Stuff like this catching up with us this season IMO. Moyes has still made some iffy decisions but it's not as if he's come into a top four club and got us one point. This kind of start is a season in, season out thing for us. What he's doing is par for the course. He needs to stay long term and change it.Get yer dosh on the Fat Lass.
It all stinks to high heaven, man.

Who were recruited and employed by the owner.
Looking on the bright side, still better value than rodders. So, he's cost us a season-long loan fee, a year of wages and now 10.5m and he played 13 games for us. About a million per game, then!
Oh and we let him go for free because our hotshot board were convinced we wouldn't be liable for the transfer fee?
Ah right so another non starter. Either that we've lost that case about dozen times, I suppose that would explain why we haven't been spending big.Source is gazetta who have rerun the same story they have run several times over the last few months
Whee? good banter regardless
Oh I agree it was out fault and we should pay up but I thought he would still be our player if it was ruled in their favour. I don't know where that leaves us because I understood it as he was playing somewhere else in the meantime while the mess was sorted out, I don't think we could make that decision on letting him go at the time if we thought he wasn't ours. probably more to it than we think. It's our fault that he's not our player, not Inter's. They will get the full amount due to them and we do not have a player to show for it.
As said at the time, we should have cut our losses, played him while we waited to see the outcome of the Johnson case, and sold him to get some of the money back. Instead we arsed around, lost the lot and paid a nice whack of legal fees for the privilege.
