Its an ideal solution, there will be thousands of people out there desperate to give a child a home and would've been checked previously to ascertain their suitability :p
 


Anyone else hear Jeremy Vine on radio 2 earlier today.
I'm sure he said Denmark ((I think) has been testing the children coming into the country and found 72% of them to be adults.
If we do decide to allow more children in (and I'm probably in favour of it) let's hope we conduct rigorous checks

IMO we all have a responsibility to all our fellow humans, to treat them humanely and help them wherever we are able. We might have problems of our own in the UK but we are still able to help others. It is precisely attitudes like yours that have led to the world being so fucked up in the first place. Of course we can't solve the problem alone, others must contribute too. But we certainly must play a part in solving it...unquestionably.

I do have compassion. I don't want the kids to suffer but likewise I'd prefer the kids in this country to be looked after better.

Edit: I'm not sure why we need to descend into personal insults. Not aimed at you @HellsBells but some of the others need to grow up.

The vast majority are complete wasters andTBH if I were a left wing self loather I'd be very tempted to keep the imploding country of Sweden out of the discussion. Wont be long before its a failed state. The exact country not to copy.

It will still cost the taxpayer huge amounts whoever takes them in tbh.....and I don't think we're talking about cuddly 2 year old Syrian kids with big eyes here.....most of them are adolescent males....up to 17 years old and six foot tall.

Thanks. No I wasn't aware of it. I can be concerned about something without being aware of published research. I'm basing my opinion on personal experiences of raising kids in the UK. There are so many areas that are under-funded and under-resourced.
