What's the conditions like? At work, not watching.
Yes, surprisingly so.was it easy to see the ball on tv?
Should be used instead of white ball too, much easier to seeYes, surprisingly so.
I'd say that it was easier to follow that the red ball actually
Which allows people to actually watch test match cricket. Just look at some of the tests in this country infront of absolutely no-one as it's on during work days.Have to say I'm not a fan.
Just a gimmick which cheapens the traditions of test cricket.
Having said that, if it proves popular abroad and brings the crowds back to the game then fair enough. Just not here where tests are well attended.
Thursday and Friday of the test matches over here are still well attended, it's only the Monday if it goes to a 5th day when it tends to be played in front of only a few.Which allows people to actually watch test match cricket. NZ is preparing for a match next year...It'll be greatbin WI, Aus. Not sure about conditions in sub-continent. Assume they wont be daft enough to try it here or NZ
So it's after Tea and still light. Hardly day/night is it? Surely they should play atleast a session in darkness??

If that's the reasons you can't see the ball easily then it's a big problem as around 20% of males have some form of colour blindness iirc.they do, its dark soon
I've been a big fan of it, watched most of the play so far, but in the dark I struggle to see the pink ball in the outfield BUT I am partially colour blind, so I guess it isn't aimed at me anyway.
It'll never happen here anyway because its to light at night in the summer, its been canny I think.
Back to the game, shocking 3rd umpiring let Lyon off when there was a clear hotspot, and McCullum was very poor leaving the spinners on to Starc when he had a broken foot, should have been 6 yorkers at his feet.
Mind it does a bit too much under the lights for me, nipping all over the place
