The Witcher 3

I've got constant juddering and 5 minute load screens on my ps4 version all of a sudden

Happened to me at the very start. I uninstalled mine, went offline then went back online once it was installed again. It worked, but if you're far into the game you obviously don't wanna be uninstalling it.

I loaded an earlier save, lost 30 mins of progress but it seems to have sorted the issue. Wonder if it was a corrupt save file?

You'll want whatever mode does as little (or no) alterations to the signal. A monitor is named like that for a reason as it simply designed to show the signal coming from the device without altering it.
A TV has all sorts of extra stuff that changes the gamma, colour gamut, anti-noise, anti-mpeg compression blocks, frame interpolation and a dozen things that are great for showing movies, but shit for computers/consoles.
If there is not a game mode as mentioned, turn off all of those settings that I've mentioned with 'standard'. Movie tends to reduce contrast and brightness and increase the reds which is altering the game.

I finally got an xbox controller and so I can play the game on my pc. The graphics are amazing and lag free. However I have came to this from Far Cry 4 and I know I will get flamed for saying this but so far I don't like this game. I am not a fan of Sword and Sorcery anyway and so far I have spent much of my time talking to boring smelly peasants including one who wanted me to find her frying pan FFS. At the moment I am trying to fight a Gryphon and there's another guy with me and he does shit. The selection procedure for the weapons is so freaking complicated that as soon as I have it worked out the bastard turkey takes another bite out of me. I have fired a million crossbow bolts at it but it will not die. I plan to chill out with a bit more FC4 and then nip out for a jar. I think it is unlikely I will buy Witcher 4.

I'm level 20 now but haven't even made it to skellige yet! Feels like I've been playing it for years now and still nowhere near complete.

I'm busy doing as many of the side quests as possible, just done a mint one where Priscilla gets Formaldehyde poured down her throat and you sort of turn detective to find who did it, really enjoyed it.

Also just killed myself a Chort for the first time, fooking massive it was.

Tbf mate. If I didn't like football I wouldn't buy Fifa so if you don't like swords and sorcery then why buy witcher and then complain about t

I'm not in a rush to get it like I did the others. Everyone says it's just like a FC3 DLC

Not everyone. I don't say that.

Did I? Can't remember if I did tbh, are you confusing me with @KarlM?

"I opted for Witcher 3 and happy with the decision! Seems like a cracking game.
