Worked up to a heavy single on high bar squats before doing 180kg for an 11 second pause, for some daft challenge. Benched a close grip PB of 130kg x 6 then some easy deads. Third squat session in 24 hours

Bicep pain seems to be abolished when doing close grip stuff as it's much easier to tuck my elbows. Might consider going back to a slightly closer grip on regular bench as I had gone back to straddling the rings with my hands.

my bench is and has always been pathetic, as the weight goes up I find myself getting wider like

Cause you're an absolute waste of space that's why, I'm so pleased you're back training, don't ever stop or I'll lose my purpose in life.

Well I'll still abuse chummy man.

Decent session this morning.

175kg x 2 squat (pr).

100kg x 2 bench (not a PR but the easiest it's ever felt. And given my bicep pain I'm happy with that).

210kg x 1 x 2 Deadlift. Also felt good, especially after a squat pr.

And this has actually been the shittest I've felt in three weeks before a sessions. I was tired and grumpy this morning

You get used to that like, legs feel like jelly and then once you warm up the weight feels you've forgotten to put enough on  not every day like but still good when they come, 175 for 2 eh, try adding another 8 on and you'll be doing well kidda  I've squatted 170 for 2 today cause in still injured.

In dunno if you want cry or fume about this, I don't mind either way though ;)

Prick.

What are you pulling these days anyhow? Other than your plonker.

Sounds like i'm just behind you, hit 3x160 on my squat. 2x95 bench (failed the third rep) and hit 3x100 power clean.

Putting my cals back up to 3000 from 2500 cause felt knackered all week. Lost 4 lb this week

Just squatted 262.5kg pretty easily. Benched a gym PB after that too. 5 weeks out

I've always had a crap bench. Happens when you're not a dwarf.

Tbh, given he's about the same weight as me he should be loads stronger than me than he is, what with his short femurs and arms. The one lift where I do have an anatomical advantage, I'm better at it

It's just time separating me and him.

What's the records for the under 23 class like?

Something like 190kg. I have one in the GPC but I don't count it.

Going to compete in the 100s in Vegas though. The cross-fed British record total in the u23s is 717.5kg. Tgete for the taking
